The Harry Potter star is in talks to play the lead role in a live action movie of the iconic fairytale, according to Variety.
The flick will be made by Disney and Brit Sir Kenneth Branagh is set to direct.
If Emma, 22, bags the role, she will star opposite Cate Blanchett, who has already signed on to play Cinderella's evil stepmother.
The latest draft of the script was penned by The Twilight Saga: New Moon director Chris Weitz so expect moody stares and snogs galore.

By coincidence, Emma has recently come to the defence of Twilight star Kristen Stewart.
She recently called on fans to stop their criticism of the actress for cheating on boyfriend Robert Pattinson.
She said: “Kristen is human, just like everybody else, and she’s so young.
“Everyone makes mistakes, everyone."
Disney gave the green light to Cinderella, being produced by Simon Kinberg, after the success of its 2010 live action adaptation of Alice In Wonderland, directed by Tim Burton and starring Johnny Depp.
The latest Cinderella movie currently has a release date for 2014 with filming set to start later this year.
